WMMC and UCM Health Center to
Host Annual Ladies’ Night Out

Warrensburg, MO (September 1, 2017)—Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) and the University of Central Missouri (UCM) Health Center will host this year’s annual Ladies’ Night Out event on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

This year, Ladies’ Night Out will be held in the UCM Elliott Union Ballroom at 500 S. Holden St, Warrensburg, Mo. The new venue will allow for more exhibitors to involve our greater community in this awareness effort.

Ladies’ Night Out strives to raise awareness about women’s health and breast cancer by providing education and scheduling mammograms prior to/during the event. The event will feature free leg vein screenings, musical entertainment, door prizes, massages and “mini manis” as well as makeup and hair tutorials.

Drinks and hor d’oeurvres will be served throughout the night. Attendees who have scheduled their mammograms prior to or at the event (2017 appointments only) will be put into a grand prize drawing.

During the event, attendees will hear from medical professionals as well as a personal testimonial from a local breast cancer survivor.

Entrance is free, but donations are appreciated. All proceeds will be donated to the WMMC Foundation, benefitting the Cancer Center at WMMC. Attendees are encouraged to register prior to the event by visiting WMMC.com/mammo.

Potential exhibitors and sponsors who are interested in supporting this effort through tabling at the event, providing giveaways or financial contributions are encouraged to contact Kerri Lewis, Development Specialist, at (660) 262-7462 or klewis@wmmc.com.
