Warrensburg, MO — Western Missouri Medical Center will open a new dermatology clinic on Aug. 19, expanding access to comprehensive, medically driven skin care services for the Johnson County community and beyond. While the new clinic space in the Medical Office Building is being prepared, services will be offered temporarily in Surgical Services of Warrensburg.
The clinic will be led by Jessica L. Muelleman, FNP, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in dermatology. Her training was made possible through WMMC’s partnership with Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group in Lee’s Summit, MO, where she trained alongside David Fieleke, MD, a double board-certified dermatologist. This dynamic partnership with Cornerstone will support the development of services at the new clinic and allow WMMC to bring advanced dermatologic care directly to our greater community.
In October, ReDefine Medical Spa will close its current location and move to the WMMC Medical Office Building, joining the dermatology clinic to form Western Missouri Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics. ReDefine will transition medically directed services and discontinue non-medically directed aesthetic services. This clinic will combine expert medical dermatology with a select range of advanced medical aesthetic treatments. This transition will allow WMMC to offer expanded skin care services, blending the medical expertise of dermatology with trusted aesthetic treatments to better serve patients.
Dr. Angela Phelps, a board-certified physician in Family and Obesity Medicine with over 20 years of experience, will continue to serve as the Medical Director for medical aesthetics. Dr. Phelps is passionate about whole-body wellness and provides high-quality care tailored to each patient’s health and wellness goals.
