Warrensburg, MO — Angela Ramirez, DNP, APRN, CNM, a certified nurse-midwife with a strong foundation in women’s health, has joined Western Missouri Women’s Health Center and birthing team at Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC).
Ramirez completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Kansas in 2020 and most recently earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2025.
With 14 years of nursing experience, eight of which have been in labor and delivery, Ramirez brings a broad range of experience and a strong appreciation for rural healthcare, shaped by her time serving communities across Kansas and Missouri as a travel nurse. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and brings a strong commitment to patient advocacy, shared decision-making, and individualized, patient-centered care.
Ramirez believes that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected throughout their care experience. She views her role as both a clinical provider and a steady, supportive presence during some of the most transformative and vulnerable moments in a woman’s life.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and diving into mystery thriller novels.
