WMMC to Host Sports Physical Night for Local Athletes on May 21

Warrensburg, MO — Local student athletes will have the opportunity to complete their sports physical for the 2025-26 school year during Western Missouri Medical Center’s Sports Physical Night on Wednesday, May 21 from 5-7 p.m. in the Warrensburg High School gymnasium.

Sports medicine experts and healthcare providers from Western Missouri Bone & Joint, Central Family Sports Medicine and PT Solutions will be providing physical examinations on a walk-in basis with no appointment required. Student athletes from Warrensburg and all surrounding school districts are welcome to participate.

Standard Sports Physicals will be available for $30, and exams including an Electrocardiogram (EKG) will cost $50. An EKG measures the heart’s electrical activity and can help identify potential heart conditions that may affect an athlete’s ability to participate in sports. EKGs are recommended for high school students only.

Sports physical fees can be paid with cash or by check. All proceeds from WMMC’s Sports Physical Night will be donated to Warrensburg High School’s athletic training department.

Athletes who intend to complete their sports physical at the event are encouraged to bring a sports physical form with the information for their portion of the form completed in advance.
