The Exploring Careers in Healthcare Opportunities (ECHO) program at Western Missouri Medial Center is a week-long camp for current high school students to explore the exciting world of healthcare careers. ECHO Camp provides students with an inside look at the medical field through job shadowing, hands-on activities, and interactive demonstrations led by WMMC healthcare professionals. Participants will explore departments such as:

Sessions are held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Western Missouri Medical Center.
ECHO Camp is open to current high school students and May 2025 graduates. Applicants must complete the online application below, which includes:
A $40 fee covers an ECHO Camp T-shirt, WMMC swag bag, and daily lunch.

The application window opens April 1, and the deadline to submit applications is April 18.* With limited availability, students interested in gaining real-world healthcare experience should apply as soon as possible.
