What should I do in a medical emergency?

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.

Where can I go if I need care today but it’s not an emergency?

Warrensburg Express Care is available for non-emergency illnesses and injuries that need same-day attention.

Who can I contact if I have a non-emergency question?

Western Missouri Medical Center offers the Text-a-Nurse Program, which connects established patients with licensed nurses for non-emergency health questions. Nurses can provide care guidance, assist with medication-related questions, and help you determine the next steps in your care.

How do I reach an on-call provider after hours?

Many WMMC clinics use a physician paging system to connect patients with on-call providers outside of regular business hours, including Surgical Services, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health Center, Bone & Joint, Central Family & Sports Medicine, Family Practice of Central Missouri, and our Knob Noster and Concordia locations.

To reach an on-call provider after hours, call the clinic directly. Our team will relay your information to the appropriate provider as quickly as possible.

Who do I contact with billing or insurance questions?

For billing questions, payment options, payment plans, or insurance inquiries, contact Patient Accounts.

Who do I contact about hospitalist billing?

Hospitalist billing is handled through ConnectCare.

What should I do if I believe my bill was processed incorrectly?

If you believe your bill has been inaccurately processed by your insurance company or feel a billing issue has gone unresolved, please contact Patient Accounts at (660) 262-7350. A representative can review your account and assist with next steps.

Who can help me with the Patient Portal?

For questions about your records in the Patient Portal or to share improvement opportunities, call (660) 262-7734 and leave a message. A WMMC team member will return your call.

If you are having difficulty logging into your myCerner Patient Portal, contact Cerner Support at (877) 621-8014.
