Insurance Information AT WMMC

Understanding your coverage, benefits, and billing options at WMMC

Western Missouri Medical Center works with a wide range of insurance plans and is committed to helping make your coverage and billing experience as simple as possible. 

We recommend contacting your insurance provider prior to your visit to confirm benefits, coverage, and any authorization requirements.

WMMC files claims directly with commercial insurance providers.

Patients are responsible for:

  • Deductibles
  • Co-insurance not covered by insurance
  • Non-covered services

Some services may require prior authorization from your insurance company.

WMMC participates with Medicare and will submit claims on your behalf.

Patients are responsible for applicable:

  • Deductibles
  • Co-insurance
  • Non-covered services

Secondary insurance will be billed after Medicare processes the claim.

WMMC participates in Missouri Medicaid programs and bills the appropriate plan.

Patients are responsible for any required co-pays.
