Our Endoscopy Services

Colonoscopia

A colonoscopy allows providers to examine the inside of the colon and rectum to identify abnormalities, diagnose conditions, and screen for colorectal cancer.

This procedure plays an important role in the early detection and prevention of colorectal cancer. During a colonoscopy, providers can identify and remove polyps, evaluate symptoms, and detect changes in the colon that may require additional care.

Esofagogastroduodenoscopia (EGD)

An esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) allows providers to examine the upper digestive tract, including the esophagus, stomach, and beginning of the small intestine.

An EGD may help diagnose and evaluate:

  • Acid reflux
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Dolor abdominal
  • Ulcers
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding

Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule endoscopy uses a small, swallowable camera to capture images of the digestive tract. This procedure allows providers to evaluate areas of the small intestine that may be difficult to reach with traditional endoscopy.

This minimally invasive procedure can help providers identify the cause of unexplained symptoms and better understand conditions affecting the digestive system.
