Warrensburg, Missouri —Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) has been named a Great Place To Work® Certified™ organization for the second consecutive year, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to creating a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued, respected and supported.
The certification is based entirely on employee feedback gathered through the Great Place To Work® Trust Index™ Survey, giving WMMC employees an opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives about working at the organization.

Dick, MSN, RN, FACHE, President and CEO of Western Missouri Medical Center. “Our team members are the heart of WMMC, and their feedback helps us understand what we are doing well and where we have opportunities to grow. Earning this certification for a second year is a reflection of the culture we have built together.”
Great Place To Work® Certification recognizes employers that demonstrate a strong workplace culture based on employee trust, satisfaction and overall experience. WMMC first earned the certification in 2025.
The recognition reflects the dedication and teamwork of employees throughout WMMC, including those who provide direct patient care and those who support the teams caring for patients.
