WMMC Auxiliary Scholarship Program

Supporting the Future of Healthcare

The WMMC Auxiliary is proud to support students pursuing careers in healthcare through its annual scholarship program. These scholarships help invest in the next generation of healthcare professionals while supporting students who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. 

Since the program began, the Auxiliary has awarded more than $119,000 in scholarships to students pursuing healthcare-related degrees and careers.

Eligibility Requirements

Scholarships are available to: 

  • Johnson County residents, or  
  • Students attending:  
  • University of Central Missouri  
  • State Fair Community College  
  • University of Missouri–Kansas City  

Applicants must be pursuing a career in a healthcare-related field.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by the Auxiliary Scholarship Committee. Scholarship recipients are selected based on: 

  • Financial need  
  • Scholastic achievement  
  • Work plans and goals  
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare  

The committee carefully reviews all completed applications submitted by the deadline.

Application Information

Scholarship applications are available each spring and must be completed and submitted no later than April 1 each year. 

Please note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.
