Hormone Therapy

Hormone Therapy in Warrensburg, MO

Personalized Hormone Care to Support Your Health and Well-Being

Hormones play an important role in many areas of your health, including energy levels, mood, sleep, metabolism, and overall well-being. As hormone levels naturally change over time, some people may experience symptoms related to hormone imbalance.

At Western Missouri Medical Center, hormone replacement therapy is available for both men and women through Central Family & Sports Medicine and the Western Missouri Women’s Health Center. Our providers take a personalized, medically guided approach to evaluate symptoms, review lab results, and determine if hormone therapy may be an appropriate option for your health goals.

Is Hormone Therapy Right for You?

Hormone changes are a natural part of aging and can begin as early as your 20s or 30s. Some individuals may notice symptoms as hormone levels change, including:

  • Fatigue or decreased energy
  • Weight changes or difficulty managing weight
  • Mood changes, anxiety, or irritability
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Decreased sex drive
  • Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
  • Hot flashes or night sweats (women)
  • Decreased muscle mass or strength (men)

Because these symptoms can also be related to other health conditions, our providers will evaluate your overall health, symptoms, and lab results to determine the best approach for you.

Hormone Therapy Options

Biote® Pellet Therapy

WMMC is a certified provider of the Biote Method, a form of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

The Biote Method uses small hormone pellets placed just under the skin that:

  • Provide a continuous release of hormones over time
  • Are customized based on symptoms and lab results
  • Typically last approximately 4–6 months before replacement is needed

Your provider will discuss whether pellet therapy is an appropriate option based on your individual needs.

Biote® Nutritional Support

Some patients may benefit from nutritional support as part of a comprehensive approach to hormone and wellness care.

Biote clinical-grade supplements may be recommended to help support:

  • Hormone and thyroid health
  • Nutritional needs
  • Overall wellness and healthy aging
