Our highly trained staff makes a special effort to ensure that your office and surgery preparation experience is as worry-free as possible. We have on-site radiology to simplify and expedite your care. Our focus is to help you return to your normal activity level safely and as soon as possible. Western Missouri Medical Center was re-certified by The Joint Commission for both total knee replacement and total hip replacement with the Gold Seal of Approval in 2021.

If you have additional questions, we offer two Total Joint Education Classes:

  • Option 1: Morning Class:10 a.m. the first Thursday of January, March, May, July, September, and November in Conference Room 1 at the hospital. You do not need to register for this option. Conference Room 1 can be accessed from either the Main Entrance or the Rehabilitation Services Entrance. If entering through the Main entrance, take a left, and at the end of the hall, take a right; Conference Room 1 will be on the left. If entering through the Rehabilitation Services Entrance, take a left; Conference Room 1 will be just ahead on the right. 
  • Option 2: Evening Class: 5 p.m. the first Thursday of February, April, June, August, October, and December in Conference Room 1 at the hospital. You do not need to register for this option. Conference Room 1 can be accessed from either the Main Entrance or the Rehabilitation Services Entrance. If entering through the Main entrance, take a left, and at the end of the hall, take a right; Conference Room 1 will be on the left. If entering through the Rehabilitation Services Entrance, take a left; Conference Room 1 will be just ahead on the right.
