Navigating Healthcare Coverage and Financial Assistance
Understanding healthcare coverage can be complicated, especially when you are uninsured or underinsured. Western Missouri Medical Center partners with Claim Aid to help patients explore healthcare coverage and financial assistance programs that may make medical care more affordable.
Claim Aid Advocates provide free assistance with the screening, application, and enrollment process. Assistance is available before, during or after a hospital visit.
Who Can Claim Aid Help?
Claim Aid can assist uninsured and underinsured patients, including patients who may need coverage or assistance outside of traditional Medicaid.
An Advocate will talk with you about your situation, help identify programs you may be eligible for, and guide you through the application process. Eligibility varies by program and individual circumstances.
Healthcare Coverage and Assistance Programs
Claim Aid can help you understand your options and guide you through the eligibility and application process to determine which programs may be available to you.
What to Expect
When you work with a Claim Aid Advocate, you can expect compassionate, personalized assistance throughout the eligibility and application process.
The application process typically takes about 20 minutes. You can walk in to speak with an Advocate or call to schedule an appointment.
