Deborah Gregory, DO, Named WMMC “Physician of the Year”

Deborah Gregory, DO, was chosen by hospital physicians and staff as the 2016 “Physician of the Year.”

Warrensburg, MO (May 5, 2017)—Deborah Gregory, DO, a physician at Western Missouri Women’s Health Center and the Advanced Wound Center at WMMC, has been named Western Missouri Medical Center’s (WMMC) “Physician of the Year.”

Each quarter of 2016, the top five physicians are determined based upon several different categories including quality, satisfaction and engagement scores. Those five physicians were then voted on by their medical staff peers to determine the “Physician of the Quarter.” Dr. Gregory was recognized as “Physician of the Quarter” for the second quarter. The four recipients of the recognition in 2016 were:

  • 1st Quarter Winner ­– Bradford Carper, DO
  • 2nd Quarter Winner – Deborah Gregory, DO
  • 3rd Quarter Winner – Rob Kenney, DO
  • 4th Quarter Winner – Jayendra Astik, MD

In March, all employees and medical staff were asked to vote between the four “Physician of the Quarter” recipients and choose the nominee that they felt best exemplifies WMMC’s Pillars of Excellence for the “Physician of the Year.”

Dr. Gregory is a practicing physician at both Western Missouri Women’s Health Center and the Advanced Wound Center at WMMC. She has been a member of the medical staff since 2012.
