Dr. Zach Loeffelholz Joins Western Missouri Bone & Joint

Warrensburg, MO — Zach Loeffelholz, MD, an orthopedic surgeon providing comprehensive orthopedic care, has joined the team at Western Missouri Bone & Joint. Dr. Loeffelholz is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and has developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of hip, knee, and shoulder conditions, ranging from young athletic injuries to arthritis and joint replacement.

Dr. Loeffelholz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Spanish from Rockhurst University in 2015 and his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2019. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in 2024, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2025.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Loeffelholz is passionate about global health and has participated in multiple medical mission trips to Chinandega, Nicaragua, performing hip and knee replacements for a small rural community.

Outside of his work, Dr. Loeffelholz enjoys spending time with his wife, Jori, and their four children. His hobbies include golfing, exercising, biking, traveling, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and tackling home improvement projects.
