All routine blood draws can be collected during outpatient hours Monday – Friday.

For after-hours, weekend emergent or time-sensitive laboratory needs, please register for lab services at the Emergency Room Registration desk.

Clinical Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory is a laboratory specializing in testing specimens obtained from patients to aid physicians in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Western Missouri Medical Center Clinical Laboratory offers a full-service laboratory 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Clinical Laboratory is CLIA and CAP accredited. The laboratory is staffed with a licensed Medical Laboratory Professional at all times allowing continuous care without delay. Our Outpatient Laboratory is staffed with highly trained Phlebotomists and is open for your convenience, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the East Entrance. For after-hour or weekend laboratory needs, patients will need to register for lab services through the Emergency Room Registration desk.

WMMC laboratory offers a robust testing menu performed in-house to accommodate the testing needs of the surrounding community. Below are a few examples of what we offer on-site to allow for quicker turnaround times of results for patient care.
