Comprehensive, Supervised Weight Loss for Lasting Results

At WMMC, we offer bariatric surgery to help people achieve meaningful, long-term weight loss and better overall health. When combined with ongoing support for healthy habits, these procedures can be life-changing. Whether you’re exploring surgery for the first time or continuing your weight loss journey, our caring team is here to guide you every step of the way.

A great first step is attending one of our free informational seminars. These seminars give you the chance to learn about surgical and non-surgical weight loss options, understand the process, and meet our providers—helping you decide if bariatric surgery is the right choice for you. Details about seminar dates and support groups are listed below.

Is Bariatric Surgery Right for You?

Bariatric surgery may be an option for people struggling with obesity who want to improve their health and quality of life. Obesity can increase the risk of conditions such as:

  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Heart Disease
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Sleep Apnea
  • Certain Types of Cancer

It can also lead to joint pain, depression, and a lower quality of life. Bariatric surgery can help reduce these risks while supporting healthier habits and overall well-being.

Bariatric Surgery Options

  • Gastric Sleeve (Sleeve Gastrectomy): A minimally invasive procedure that makes your stomach smaller so you feel full faster and lose weight effectively.
  • Orbera® Intragastric Balloon: A non-surgical, temporary balloon placed in your stomach for six months to help you eat smaller portions and build healthy habits.
