- Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (PRN)
We are seeking a skilled & collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team in Warrensburg, MO. This PRN position provides patient care services, including assessing and managing patients following established standards and practices and within scope of practice, working closely with physicians.

- PRN schedule, averaging 2-3 shifts per month (a mix of 10-hour Monday-Friday shifts, and 8-hour Saturday and Sunday shifts)

Core Privileges / Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of the patient’s medical, physical, and psychosocial status
- Complete history and physical examinations, consultations, and progress notes in a timely fashion as specified in the bylaws
- Formulate appropriate differential diagnoses based on history, physical examination, and clinical findings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality assurance reviews on a periodic basis, including systematic review of records and treatment plans
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree required
- Experience: 1-2 years related experience and/or training in hospital medicine preferred
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) license from the State of Missouri required (if NP, relevant license required)
- Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required (if NP, relevant certification)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Current Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) license required/BNDD
- Stroke certification per specified specialty practice required (NIHSS)
