Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care services, including assessing and managing patients within scope of practice and established standards of care
  • Complete comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, consultations, and progress notes
  • Conduct preventative health screenings, testing, and identify health risks and care needs
  • Develop appropriate differential diagnoses based on patient history, examination, and clinical findings
  • Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality assurance, medical record reviews, and treatment plan evaluations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree required; current registered nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license from the State of Missouri required
  • Physician Assistant: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and current Physician Assistant (PA-C) license from the State of Missouri required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license required/BNDD (within 6 months of hire)
  • DOT Physical Certification required (within 6 months of hire)
  • 1-2 years of related experience required
  • Experience and/or passion for geriatrics preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care for adult patients
  • Evaluate, admit, and manage hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Coordinate seamless transitions between outpatient and inpatient settings to enhance continuity of care
