WMMC and JCCHS to Host Health Needs Discussion at May 6 Town Hall

Warrensburg, MO — Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) and Johnson County Community Health Services invite Johnson County residents to participate in the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Town Hall on Tuesday, May 6, from 4 – 6:30 p.m. at the MKi Pavilion, located at 107 Ming St. in Warrensburg.

This free, public event will present key findings from the 2025 CHNA and foster an open discussion about the county’s most pressing health needs. Community members, healthcare providers, and local organizations are encouraged to participate, share their insights, and collaborate on strategies to enhance healthcare services in Johnson County. Attendees will also enjoy a complimentary taco bar during the town hall.

Feedback from the Town Hall will directly inform the CHNA committee as they develop a three-year strategic plan to address local health priorities.

The Community Health Needs Assessment is a brief online survey conducted that assesses community health challenges and evaluates local healthcare services. Nonprofit hospitals conduct the survey every three years as a general requirement for tax exemption. WMMC and JCCHS conducted the most recent assessment in March 2025.

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP at wmmc.com/TownHall prior to the event.
