WMMC to Host Second Annual
Career Camp for Students

Warrensburg, MO (February 13, 2018)—Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) will be hosting the second annual Exploring Careers in Healthcare Opportunities (ECHO) Camp July 9 – 13. This FREE, week-long camp is a career planning program designed to highlight careers in healthcare by providing exposure through hands-on experiences, a behind the scenes look at the Emergency Department, job shadowing and much more!

This camp is for students who are current spring 2018 high school freshmen through spring 2018 high school seniors graduating this May.

Students interested are required to complete the ECHO camp application, provide a letter of recommendation from a school counselor or teacher and write a one-page essay describing their specific healthcare career interest and what they hope to gain from ECHO camp.

All requirements are to be sent to the attention of Kayleen Thomas, Clinical Educator, at Western Missouri Medical Center, 403 Burkarth Road, Warrensburg, MO, 64093. The deadline to apply is April 20, 2018.
