Step into a vibrant world filled with color, music, and excitement as the WMMC Foundation hosts the sixth annual Fire & Ice Gala.
  • Collect your game tokens upon arrival and try your luck at classic casino games, including Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Let it Ride, Craps, Money Wheel and Roulette.
  • Sip a signature Hurricane from the open bar and indulge in decadent hors d’oeuvres.
  • Place your bid on incredible items and unique experiences during our silent auction and live auction.
  • Cash prize giveaways and raffles throughout the evening will keep you on the edge of your seat!

 

Event Timeline

6 p.m. — Check-in
Receive your auction program, bidding number, gaming tokens, and our signature beverage. Preview silent auction items, live auction items, and enjoy cocktails at the open bar along with light appetizers, friends, music, and more.

6:30 p.m. — Gaming Begins
Enter for silent auction items and gaming prizes while enjoying the open bar and hors d’oeuvres.

9 p.m. — Program Begins
Hear from the WMMC Foundation and guest speakers as we highlight the impact of your support.

9:45 p.m. — Live Auction and Prize Drawings
Bid on exciting items!

10 p.m. — Check-out Opens
Conclude your evening and settle any outstanding balances.

Both sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available and include varying levels of recognition for your support. Most sponsors receive tickets and other benefits as part of their sponsorship as well.

Donate Items to Fire & Ice

Generous contributions of raffle items, silent auction items, and live auction items greatly enhance fundraising efforts and support the Foundation’s mission. To donate an item or experience for the WMMC Foundation’s “Fire & Ice: Mardi Gras” fundraiser, visit wmmc.com/fundraiser and complete the donation form. Please provide all necessary details about the item or experience you wish to donate, including:

  • Name and description of the item
  • Estimated value
  • Any restrictions or expiration dates
  • Your contact information

Once you have submitted the completed the form, you should receive an email confirmation of your donation, as well as any further instructions regarding your item. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Formal attire with a Mardi Gras flair is encouraged. You’ll see a range of outfits—from guests dressed to the nines in full gala attire to those opting for a more casual look with jeans and a nice shirt. Ultimately, it’s up to you, and you can’t go wrong either way!

Dress Code Tips:

  • Glamorous Gala Outfits: Consider wearing elegant dresses or suits that align with the festive spirit of Mardi Gras.
  • Casual Chic: If you prefer comfort, smart casual attire is perfectly acceptable.
  • Accessorize: Don’t forget to add some Mardi Gras flair with masks, beads, or themed accessories!

CAN I SEE THE AUCTION CATALOG?

Yes! There will be physical programs available at the event that include the auction catalog. This catalog will feature all the items and experiences up for bid during our silent and live auctions. Make sure to check it out when you arrive, as it will provide detailed information about each item, including descriptions and bidding instructions. If you have any questions before the event, feel free to reach out to us!

WHAT WILL THE LIVE AUCTION ITEMS BE?

HOW DO I PAY FOR A LIVE AUCTION ITEM?

Auction purchases will be made at the close of the live auction near the check-In table. For more information, contact Jennie Snapp at jsnapp@wmmc.com.

DO I NEED TO BRING CASH?

Due to limited Wi-Fi and phone service at the venue, bringing cash is suggested for tipping bartenders, buying “Golden Ticket” raffle tickets, prize raffle tickets, and suggested donations for gaming chips.
