Warrensburg, MO – The Western Missouri Medical Center Foundation recently received an anonymous donation of $25,000 to their $1 million capital campaign, a significant contribution bringing the campaign’s current fundraising total to $875,000.
The gift will be directed into the Foundation’s capital campaign, “Raising the Bar: Elevating Care to New Heights,” an initiative that will bring a new Computed Tomography (CT) machine with state-of-the-art imaging technology and interventional radiology components to WMMC. The campaign will also make hospital renovations possible, accommodating the new CT machine.
“We are excited to give to the Western Missouri Medical Center Foundation, which has made so much progress since their reinvigoration process in 2015,” said the donor. “Having quality local healthcare is crucial to people who live in rural areas, and the Foundation understands that. We look forward to future improvements at WMMC, which we know will benefit our neighbors, friends and family members.”

The $25,000 gift is the second major contribution to the campaign from the anonymous donor, who previously provided a $20,000 contribution in May 2023.
