WMMC C.A.R.E.givers Donate to Local Food Pantry

Warrensburg, MO (Janary 8, 2020) — Western Missouri Medical Center’s (WMMC) C.A.R.E.givers Committee partnered with the Johnson County Food Center to host a food drive.

The C.A.R.E.givers Club is the employee-giving branch of the Western Missouri Medical Center Foundation. The C.A.R.E.givers Committee is a volunteer group of WMMC employees who oversee the C.A.R.E.givers Program.

Over 35 boxes of food were collected by hospital employees. Along with the non-perishable food, WMMC donated 24 turkeys so that many families would also receive a Christmas dinner. Food was delivered to the Salvation Army Family Services on Friday, December 20^th.
