Maternity Navigation at WMMC

At WMMC, we’re here to guide you through every stage of childbirth planning. Our maternity care navigation program pairs you with your own OB nurse navigator, a registered RN, who will answer your questions, give advice, advocate, and help you prepare as delivery draws closer. Your one-on-one maternity care navigator works with you to:

• Complete admission paperwork and forms
• Discuss your birth plan and vision for delivery
• Recommend classes and events to help you prepare
• Talk about any delivery health risks or concerns you may have
• Help you designate your baby’s pediatric provider
• Connect you with community resources
• Provide your personalized tour of our Birth Center

Certified Nurse Midwives at WMMC

Our certified nurse midwives are here to provide care throughout your pregnancy and deliver your baby. They work collaboratively with our physicians to oversee your health and well-being throughout your care plan. They receive physician assistance only if unexpected complications occur, ensuring you receive the best care possible.

From well-woman exams to family planning, obstetrics and more, our certified nurse midwives are here to care for women for life.
