What is Day of Giving and when is it?

The next Day of Giving is on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The Day of Giving is an annual event organized by the Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) Foundation, where the community comes together to support and raise funds for vital healthcare initiatives. It serves as a celebration of WMMC’s mission to provide high-quality healthcare while engaging individuals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Day of Giving is similar to the global “Giving Tuesday”, which is a global generosity movement to begin the holiday giving season and contribute charitable donations to nonprofits. It occurs annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
