PocketHealth Provides WMMC Patients with Fast and Secure Access to Medical Imaging Records

Warrensburg, MO – Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) has partnered with PocketHealth to provide an online platform that enables WMMC patients and their healthcare providers to access MRI scans, X-rays, ultrasounds and other medical imaging records quickly and securely from anywhere.

PocketHealth is a secure online medical image sharing platform designed to provide patients with fast and easy access to their medical imaging records. The platform permanently stores records with bank-level encryption security and allows patients to access the records on any device.

Instead of receiving a CD with imaging files and records, patients will be giving an access page security code via email, fax or hard copy from WMMC. By visiting pockethealth.com/view on any web browser, and entering the patient’s date of birth and security code found on the access page, patients can securely view their imaging in full diagnostic quality on PocketHealth’s FDA compliant cloud viewer, or download the files without compression for offline use.

Patients can also request that WMMC send an Access Page directly to another healthcare provider or referring physician. With the adoption of PocketHealth’s Provider Sharing functionality, WMMC staff can quickly and seamlessly share records on behalf of patients when needed. Receiving physicians can then easily view or import these images in full diagnostic quality with no software or account set up required.
