Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
We are seeking a talented & engaged physician to join our tenured team of physicians in our busy Internal Medicine Clinic. Our outpatient Internists typically work full time with a 4.5-5-day work week and participate in a telephone-only call schedule as our internists partner with the Western Missouri Medical Center Hospitalist program to cover inpatient needs.

Physician Hospitalist (MD/DO)

Seeking two Hospitalists to join growing hospitalist program. Consulting staff include Pulmonology/Intensivist. General Surgery, Orthopedics Surgery physicians, and via tele-health Cardiology; Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurology. Western Missouri Medical Center is licensed for 62 beds, with a significant geriatric medical population who frequently require medical management.

Job Responsibilities

Nurse Practitioner
This full-time position is responsible for providing patient care services, including assessing and managing patients following established standards and practices and within scope of practice. Works collaboratively with physicians.

Core privileges:

Include the initial and ongoing assessment of the patient’s medical, physical and psychosocial status including:

  • Completion of history and physical examination, consultations, progress notes in timely fashion as specified in the bylaws.
  • Conduct preventative screening exams and testing. Identify medical and health risks and needs.
  • Formulate the appropriate differential diagnosis based on the history, physical examination and clinical findings.
  • Participate in quality assurance review on a periodic basis, including systematic review of records and treatment plans.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner requirements:

Education: Master’s Degree required.

Experience: 1-2 years’ related experience in internal medicine preferred.

Certificate/License/Registration:

  • Current registered nurse (RN) license and advanced (APRN) license from the State of Missouri required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) license required/BNDD.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Western Missouri Medical Center is currently seeking qualified CRNAs for a full-time opportunity to join our team in Warrensburg, Missouri.

We have a strong regional program where you will be able to work in an anesthesia group comprised of six CRNAs and one Anesthesiologist, with each provider working independently. Experience preferred in Independent Practice, Blocks, Lines, and OB; but willing to train the right candidate. Will participate in call rotation as reasonably scheduled, including certain nights, weekends, and holidays – call is approximately 1:4.

Perform anesthesia cases to include: B&B cases, General, Ortho, Endo, GYN, healthy Peds ENT, and OB.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Required).
  • Master’s Degree (Required).
  • Currently licensed to practice as a professional registered nurse in the state of Missouri.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (required).
  • One-year experience preferred.
