WMMC Announces Graduates of Nurse Residency Program

Congratulations to the WMMC Nurse Residency Program Graduates…

Warrensburg, MO (June 26, 2018)—Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) is excited to announce the first graduating class of our Nurse Residency Program. This program ensures that the nursing staff in our community is well-trained, highly competent and compassionate.

The graduates are Miranda Coleman, RN, Obstetrics Department, and Cassie Bradford, RN, Emergency Department.

This residency program is to assist newly licensed nurses in their transition from student to professional nurse. Through a curriculum that focuses on leadership, patient safety, professional role and skills, this program is designed to support newly licensed nurses during their first year of practice.
