WMMC Board Approves MOB Construction

Warrensburg, MO (April 12, 2017)—Expect big changes for Western Missouri Bone & Joint this upcoming fall! On Friday, March 31, the Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) Board of Trustees approved a $1.5 million construction project to renovate the second floor of the medical center’s Medical Office Building. The estimated completion date is August 1, 2017 with plans to open for business in the new location by September 1.
The new office space for Western Missouri Bone & Joint will give the practice more room to see patients, reaching 8,711 square-feet, and feature 12 exam rooms, two X-Ray rooms, three cast rooms and a more spacious waiting room.
“With the addition of the fourth orthopedic surgeon this fall and a growing demand for orthopedics, it was necessary to expand to better meet the needs of our patients,” said Darinda Reberry, President/CEO. “This is an exciting time for everyone at WMMC.”
BSA Life Structures, Kansas City, will act as the architect and Lytle Construction will be the builder. Construction began Monday, April 3, 2017.
