WMMC Chief Financial Officer Transition

Warrensburg, MO (June 16, 2017)—Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) announces Dean Ohmart as the new Vice President of Financial Services/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as of June 29. This change comes after the recent announcement of Terri Bradley’s, CFO, semi-retirement as she moves to the position of Business Intelligence Analyst.

In her new role as Business Intelligence Analyst, Bradley will support WMMC by leveraging business intelligence and data analytics. She will be responsible for managing and interpreting market data trends to increase profits and efficiency.

“I am incredibly thankful for the support I received during my time as CFO,” said Terri Bradley, VP of Financial Services/Chief Financial Officer. “This new role brings the opportunity to spend more time with family while still supporting Western Missouri Medical Center and our community.”

During Bradley’s tenure as VP Financial Services/Chief Financial Officer, WMMC saw the completion of the $51.5 million Master Facility Project that includes a brand new patient tower, a $10 million Medical Office Building project, growth of the Medical Staff, Foundation and expansion of specialty services, and achievement of Stage 6 on the EMR Adoption ModelSM, a prestigious achievement for enhancing patient care and safety standards.

Bradley has 40 years of progressive experience in the financial industry and has served in a variety of leadership capacities. Most notably, she has served as VP Financial Services/Chief Financial Officer since November 2011 and Director of Accounting from August 2000 – November 2011.

“During Terri’s 17 years at Western Missouri Medical Center, she has been an influential leader and asset in moving our organization forward,” said Darinda Reberry, President/Chief Executive Officer. “I am extremely thankful for her as a colleague and mentor. Our organization looks forward to the meaningful business insights that she will provide in her new role.”

Ohmart has over 35 years of progressive accounting experience in multi-site locations and has held various leadership roles throughout his career. Most recently, he worked with Coffeyville Regional Medical Center as CFO since 2014. Prior to that role, Ohmart was the CFO at Ransom Memorial Hospital and ended the last 10 years of his 13 year career there with over $2 million dollars in operations profit. Ohmart graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fort Hays State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

“We look forward to the expertise that Dean will bring to our organization,” said Darinda Reberry, President/Chief Executive Officer. “His passion for developing financial capabilities in our organization’s leaders is sure to support overall financial success for our medical center.”
