WMMC to Host Blood Drive:

Donate Blood, Save a Life

Warrensburg, MO (April 19, 2017)—Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) has partnered with the Community Blood Center of Kansas City to host a blood drive on Tuesday, May 2 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The blood drive will take place in Conference Room 1, located inside WMMC’s Main Entrance at 403 Burkarth, Warrensburg, MO.

Can I donate?

Donating blood is safe and easy. Donors must be at least 16 years old and in good health. Minors under the age of 17 must have their parent’s consent to participate. Donors age 16-18 are also subject to additional height and weight restrictions. Donors age 76 and older can continue to donate blood if they meet all donor criteria and present a physician’s letter allowing them to donate. It is recommended that donors get a good night’s sleep, eat a good meal and drink plenty of fluids before donating. For more information, please visit savealifenow.org.
