Meet Amanda Hill, Certified Nurse Midwife!

I have been a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2011. I graduated with honors and obtained my Masters in Nursing from the University of Utah. I provide care for women through the whole lifespan, with a focus on women in their childbearing age range. My past experiences include working in the medical field for the past 21 years with the last 8 years focusing on midwifery and nursing education. Additionally, I precept nurse practitioner students.

I am board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and am an active member with the American College of Nurse Midwives and the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners.

As a mother of four, I have experienced personal and professional challenges and understand the value of having a positive birthing experience. My experience as teen mother was a pivotal point in my life which steered me towards choosing to become a midwife. This experience has fueled my passion to educate and empower women in their healthcare choices.

I am an active volunteer in the community. Past and current experiences include organizing and teaching classes for Amigo’s Teen program, volunteer at Project Community Connect, and a leader and assistant leader to 3 Girl Scout troops.

I am excited to be working with such a great group of providers at Western Missouri Women’s Health Clinic!
